Responsibilities

• Serve on the till and provide great customer service.
• Price and merchandise stock, offer advice, and locate and load furniture.
• Maintain the plant area by tidying, deadheading, and watering.

Job description

Working every weekend. 16 Hours.

Working in all areas of the garden centre.

Shop

Main duties are serving on the till while offering great customer service, pricing and merchandising the stock, communicating with customers and offering advice after training, occasionally locating and loading furniture and water features for customers, building display sets of furniture and shop stands.

Plant Area

Constantly tidying and displaying plants, quickly and delicately dead heading flowers, watering plants, unloading deliveries, maintaining a tidy plant area by sweeping and raking.

Requirements

Must be hard working and able to work at a fast pace. No experience necessary but applicants must have a strong willingness to learn. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in gardening. Customer service experience is essential. We have a great team of outstanding staff in each centre.
