Job summary

Vertu Garage Assist in Banbury is seeking engineers to join our field-based team covering the Banbury area. You will maintain a wide range of garage equipment across our Dealer network in Aftersales departments.

Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment is preferred; full UK driving license required. We offer training, a company vehicle, mobile phone and IT package, PPE, and a generous bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection and breakdown repairs.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and able to complete tasks.
• Diligent with good time keeping and flexible.
• Problem solving with initiative.
• Customer-focused with good communication.
• Willing to travel and stay away as required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Lift Maintenance to BS7980.
• Maintenance on general garage equipment.
• Breakdown & Repair Works.
• Compiling Reports & Recommendations (where necessary).
• Control of Van Stock (consumables, lubricants and small serviceable components)
