Job summary

Fortel Services Ltd. is seeking a Ganger/Working Team Leader to supervise a small group of operatives on site. You will coordinate basic tasks such as excavation, drainage, concreting and general groundworks while upholding site safety standards and method statements.

This entry-level supervisory role requires reading Rams and following instructions, with SSSTS/CSCS supervisory credentials preferred and training support available.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold Supervisory card or H&S approval enrolment onto the supervisory NVQ.
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) required or in progress.
• Manual handling training completed or in progress.
• Competency in reading basic RAMS and following method statements.
• CITB Health, Safety & Environment Supervisor Test required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of operatives to deliver basic site tasks (excavation, drainage, concreting and general groundworks).
• Provide entry-level supervisory support while ensuring adherence to site safety, method statements and task coordination.

Education
