Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International in Bangor, North Wales, is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer I. You will provide technical consulting to regulators, manufacturers and engineering staff, reviewing submissions and evaluating regulatory compliance for gaming products and systems.

The role acts as a technical conduit between regulators and laboratory testing, supports jurisdictions worldwide, keeps current with industry standards and GLI procedures, and helps with internal training and

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with customer-service orientation.
• Ability to assess issues quickly and work as part of a team.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service/support to regulators and suppliers.
• Conduct evaluations of submission files and identify regulatory concerns.
• Perform incoming/outgoing reviews, technical evaluations and issue investigations.
• Develop certification report disclosures and maintain jurisdictional profiles.
• Stay current with industry standards and GLI procedures; assist with internal training.
