Job summary

Cloud Imperium Games is seeking a Gameplay Capture Artist to creatively and technically prep, direct, and capture gameplay moments for bespoke Star Citizen social content. You’ll work with the Social Media team to produce shareable clips, community highlights, and short-form video.

You’ll capture content during development builds, attend community events, and collaborate with developers to learn about new features worth showcasing, while maintaining a strong eye for what makes content go viral.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with game capture or live action filming.
• Fluent with both the gameplay and development history of Star Citizen.
• Deep interest and passion for video games, internet culture, and community.

Responsibilities

• Capture bespoke gameplay content for Star Citizen socials using development builds and capture tools.
• Focus on gameplay capture as part of the Social Media team.
• Attend community events to capture content for spotlight on social channels.
• Coordinate with other Gameplay Capture artists on multiplayer capture sessions.
• Learn from developers across teams about new features and content worth showing.
• Spot clip-worthy moments and package them for social formats.
• Pitch own content ideas that blend trends with community interests.
