Job Title: Game Design Tutor

Location: Bristol

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 DOE

Job type: Full Time, Permanent (Mon-Fri 9:30-16:30)

Enemy of Boredom (EOB) is a video game design training centre working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to build futures.

We are seeking video game design tutors for Level 1, 2 and 3 courses at our brand-new studio in Bristol.

The Role:

As a Game Design Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in video game design principles and practices. You will develop course content, facilitate engaging lessons, and provide feedback to students on their projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and deliver course material for Level 1, 2, and 3 video game design courses.
  2. Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
  3. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  4. Collaborate with other tutors to enhance the curriculum.
  5. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into lessons.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in video game design or a related field.
  2. Strong communication and teaching skills.
  3. Understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  4. Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed.
