With roots in free-to-play game development, they are combining experience and creativity to craft engaging entertainment products that deliver strong retention and global appeal. Their focus is on creating both free-to-play and real money games that are intuitive, accessible, and — above all — fun to play.

They care deeply about work-life balance and are always looking for ways to improve team well-being. They are proud to have built a flexible, supportive workplace to help everyone do their best work and enjoy doing it.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding and dynamic design team. The company is all about using authentic research and ideas to amplify user experience. As their first Game Artist, you’ll help shape the visual direction and grow alongside the team.

To thrive in this role, you should have a passion for game art, a proactive work style, and experience collaborating cross-departmentally. You will guide games from concept to final production and support marketing, sales, and brand initiatives. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects is required, while experience in Spine 2D and 3D software is highly desirable.

The company encourages professional development through further learning and participation in industry events.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Creating high-quality art and visual assets (UI, characters, environments) from concept to final production
  • Managing and developing assets to meet aesthetic and technical requirements while complying with industry regulations
  • Exporting and optimising assets for smooth integration into the game pipeline
  • Producing premium-quality assets for marketing and sales materials
  • Participating in creative brainstorming sessions and feedback cycles
  • Guiding visual storytelling and branding across game series
  • Keeping up to date with industry design trends
  • Collaborating with animators on asset creation for animations, including sprite sheet and texture atlas files
What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • A strong, versatile portfolio showcasing 2D artwork (ideally within iGaming)
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other digital art tools
  • Ability to turn briefs into concepts, moodboards, and production-ready assets
  • Understanding of asset pipelines and performance standards
  • Experience working cross-functionally (e.g., development, marketing)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and team-player attitude

Desired:

  • Previous experience in mobile gaming or iGaming
  • Experience with Spine 2D animation
  • Competence in 3D modelling software (e.g., Blender)
What’s in it for you?
  • Flexible working: remote, hybrid, or office-based (UK)
  • Supportive, fast-paced team that values your growth
  • Opportunity to influence artistic direction in innovative projects
  • Competitive salary with room for growth
  • Access to training, mentorship, and industry events
  • Support for remote work setup (equipment provided)
  • Employer-contributed pension
