Job description

Game Art Asset Quality Assurance Assistant

Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys has spent almost a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including: Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War; and we’re now excited to be exclusively working on a new game, unlike ANYTHING we’ve done previously!

As a forward-thinking and innovative studio, we are always exploring new technologies and techniques to develop and incorporate into our games to create more engaging experiences for our players.

We are eager to expand our team and are continuously seeking highly talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about gaming and eager to join us on our ambitious journey!

The Role:

Join Pixel Toys as a Game Art Asset Quality Assurance Assistant on a 2-month Fixed Term Contract and play a vital role in shaping the visual quality of our upcoming major release.

Your responsibilities will include capturing and transforming in-game footage from various builds into actionable documentation, scrutinising assets for visual inconsistencies, identifying bugs, and flagging issues that do not meet our artistic standards. Your work will directly influence how polished, immersive, and visually stunning the final product appears to players worldwide.

About you:

You possess a keen eye for visual detail and a genuine passion for games. You take pride in precision, approach tasks methodically, and are creative in problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership over your work.

You are comfortable navigating game builds to test and review assets effectively. Attention to detail, discipline, and self-accountability are essential to maintain high standards and double-check your work consistently.

Through work or education, you demonstrate the ability to stay organised under pressure, communicate clearly with the team, and turn observations into actionable feedback.

Ultimately, you are driven, focused, and eager to help elevate the visual quality of a game before it reaches players around the world.

What can Pixel Toys offer?

At Pixel Toys, we pride ourselves on creating a progressive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment where everyone has the opportunity to be themselves and is valued for their unique contributions. We offer some fantastic benefits to our employees.
