Job description

Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys has spent almost a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including: Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War; and we’re now excited to be exclusively working on a new game, unlike ANYTHING we’ve done previously!

As a forward-thinking and innovative studio, we are always looking for new technologies and techniques to develop and use in our games to make them even more engaging experiences for our customers.

We are excited to continue growing our team and are always on the lookout for highly talented and motivated individuals, who are passionate about gaming and excited to join us on our ambitious journey!

The Role:
  1. Join Pixel Toys as a Game Art Asset Quality Assurance Assistant on a 2-month Fixed Term Contract and play a vital role in shaping the visual quality of our next big release.
  2. Capture and transform in-game footage from various builds into actionable documentation for the team.
  3. Scrutinise every asset by hunting down visual inconsistencies, identifying bugs, and flagging anything that doesn’t meet our artistic standards.
  4. Influence how polished, immersive, and visually stunning the final product feels to players around the world.
About you:
  1. You have a sharp eye for visual detail and a genuine passion for games.
  2. You take pride in precision, adopt a methodical approach, and are creative in problem-solving with a strong sense of ownership.
  3. You are comfortable navigating game builds to test and review assets effectively.
  4. A keen attention to detail, discipline, and self-accountability are essential.
  5. You can stay organised under pressure, communicate clearly, and turn observations into actionable feedback.
  6. You are driven, focused, and eager to help elevate the visual quality of our game before release.
What can Pixel Toys offer?
