Preston Muslim Forum Limited is seeking a part-time projects coordinator to deliver its community-based gambling harms programme in Preston. You will build partnerships with faith institutions, community groups and public sector partners to reduce stigma and improve access to support for people affected by gambling-related harm.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will organise awareness sessions, recruit volunteers, manage project activities, and maintain records and reports for funders.

Qualifications

• Experience organising events, workshops or training.
• Experience working with faith communities and minority ethnic groups.
• Strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of gambling harms, addiction, mental health or public health.
• Understanding safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with community, faith, voluntary and statutory organisations, developing referral pathways and partnership opportunities.
• Represent the project at meetings, events and networks.
• Organise and deliver community awareness sessions and events, engaging underserved communities and promoting available support services.
• Recruit and support community champions and volunteers.
• Coordinate and deliver gambling harms awareness sessions and full-day accredited training for volunteers, practitioners and faith leaders.
• Manage project activities to achieve targets, maintain training records and evaluation data.
• Record monitoring data, attendance, case studies and prepare reports for funders and partners.
