Job description

Aeropak - Great Yarmouth - Full Time/Double-Day Shifts

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work as a G2 Packing Operator in a Filling and Packing operation on the Aeropak site in Great Yarmouth. The role requires the applicant to perform the role of a G2 Packing Operator as well as providing support to both the G3 and Line Leader in maintaining the quality, safety, and efficiency of the packing line.

This role reports to the Production Shift Leader.

Key responsibilities:

General

  • Identify continuous improvement and waste reduction opportunities and support their implementation.
  • Ensure self is always occupied and remain flexible across the department and site.
  • Show respect when dealing with colleagues and external parties.

Safety

  • Promote a culture of safety first.
  • Be trained and qualified in all relevant Health and Safety procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of general line tidiness and housekeeping to ensure safe and effective working conditions.
  • Ensure all Production Line operations are conducted safely.
  • Report any H&S hazards or incidents promptly and participate in investigations.

Quality/GMP

  • Ensure that Production and GMP operations comply with cGMP, Medicines, Medical Devices, and Cosmetics regulations.
  • Adhere to local procedures on the Production Lines Delivery.

Delivery

  • Monitor the performance of the Production Line (Output vs Plan and Product Quality).
  • Support G3 Packing Operator in moving stock to and from the line as required.
  • Identify issues with equipment or components affecting performance and product quality.
  • Escalate to the Line Leader if engineering support is needed.
  • Operate the line safely and effectively.

People

  • Assist in training new team members to operate safely and effectively.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive 'can do' attitude.
  • Good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety.
  • High attention to detail, including codes and quantities.
  • Competent in documentation.
