Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for an FY2 grade post to support the junior doctor and consultant teams in Acute Medicine at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The post holder will work as part of the junior tier (FY2/CT1/CT2 level) with a full shift rota pattern, compliant with EWTD and Junior Doctors Contract. The department is central to acute care across the Trust, offering development opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• FY2/CT1/CT2 level trainees welcome to apply.
• Experience in acute medicine and ward work is preferred.
• Ability to work within a junior doctor rota.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in the department and support ward teams.
• Assist in admissions to inpatient teams for further management.
• Assist in admissions to Medical Wards as required.
