Job summary

VFX Financial in London is seeking a meticulous Middle Office Analyst to oversee the FX post-trade lifecycle, reconcile trades, and support margin and settlement activities. You will act as a control point between Trading, Back Office and Risk, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

This hands-on role requires strong numerical ability, excellent Excel skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-growing FinTech with hybrid working at Aldgate.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another numerate discipline.
• Understanding of derivatives and financial risk concepts; FX derivatives exposure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete post-trade lifecycle of FX derivatives, from execution through settlement.
• Maintain robust trade capture, reconciliation, and control processes across systems.
• Monitor trading activity, escalate issues to senior management when needed.
• Collaborate with Trading, Back Office, Settlements, Payments, Technology and Risk teams.
• Manage margin calls and support credit facility reviews with the Risk Manager.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
