Hybrid Working - London - 3 days a week on site.
Lorien's leading Financial Services Client is looking for a FX eTrading Application Production Engineer to join the existing team on an existing long-term project.
This role is based in London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 3 days a week on site.
This role is a position within the FX trading Application Production team in London which is part of the GM APS Flow and Digital department (Application Production & Support). This a global team providing services to the global business Global Markets trading room.
The team provides technical support for all back-end components running on FX eTrading environments (more than 600 production servers - Windows or Linux) as well as interconnections with many external trading venues and other internal systems.
Production platforms are mainly installed in London, New York, Tokyo and Singapore and most of them live 24/5. Follow-the-sun support model is used involving teams in London, New York, Montreal, Singapore and Mumbai.
Systems are complex so as part of support activities the range of technical skills involved is wide.

All engineers within the team have applications (mainly proprietary software) and technologies allocated to them and they are expected to take ownership and be or quickly become experts in these areas.
