The Role
The client, a City of London-based global trading company, is seeking a permanent Futures & Options/ETD Exchange Fees Reconciliations Analyst to join their team. The role reports to a senior Futures/ETD Operations Manager and requires experience with coding in Python (highly desirable) or SQL, along with at least 1 year of operations experience within a reputable brokerage or investment bank.

The role involves working with large datasets from major global Futures & Options exchanges such as LIFFE, Eurex, LME, CME, CBOT, ICE, among others, as well as third-party Futures Clearing Agents, supporting the bank’s global trading futures clearing business.
You will verify, reconcile, and investigate high-volume Futures Exchange Fee data. Initially, manual processes are involved, but the goal is to automate tasks using Python or SQL, with a focus on reducing manual work over time.
There are significant promotion opportunities within the expanding operations team, including potential future roles as Operations Manager or other departments.
The position is based in London, working 4 days per week in the office and 1 day from home, with a salary up to £70,000 per annum, plus bonuses, pension, and other benefits.
