The Role
Futures & Options/ ETD Exchange Fees Reconciliations Analyst (Reconciliations SME with Python, or SQL coding experience)
Martis Search is representing a City of London based global Trading company to hire a permanent “Futures & Options Exchange Fees Reconciliations Analyst.”
The role reports into a senior Futures/ ETD Operations Manager and our client is looking for someone who has an aptitude with coding in languages such as Python (highly desirable), or SQL with a minimum of 1-year’s years Operations experience gained within a reputable Brokerage, or Investment Bank (happy to look at all experience levels above 1-year).
You could come from either:
The role will be working with large Futures Exchange Fee Data sets from a major number of global Futures & Options Futures Exchanges i.e./ LIFFE, Eurex, LME, CME, CBOT, ICE and many more, plus 3rd Party Futures Clearing Agents and support the Bank’s global trading Futures Clearing business.
For this role, you will be working with very high volume of Futures Exchange Data sets. Each major Futures & Options fee needs to verified, reconciled and investigated. At-the-moment this involves a lot of manual processes.
Therefore, our client need someone with a working aptitude of using coding in ideally Python, but will also look at SQL experience (with the view to self-learn Python in the job) and in time, after learning the job/ process over several months, alongside day-to-day related BAU departmental Operations tasks to focus on a large automation project with the aim to reduce manual processing and tasks.
Due to the huge growth in the business, there is a lot of genuine promotion opportunities at the Bank within Operations to become a future “Operations Manager”, or other Operations departments. There are new teams growing all the time as the business expands, so it is an excellent career opportunity.
The role will be x 4 days per week in their London office and x 1-day working-from-home.
Up to £70 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus good bonus, pension and other benefits too.
