Job Description:

The Role

The client, a global trading company based in the City of London, is seeking a permanent Futures & Options/ETD Exchange Fees Reconciliations Analyst. The role reports to a senior Futures/ETD Operations Manager and requires experience with coding in Python (highly desirable) or SQL, along with at least 1 year of operations experience within a reputable brokerage or investment bank.

The ideal candidate could come from:

• Futures Reconciliations with Python or SQL skills
• Reconciliations (non-Futures) with Python or SQL skills
• Data Reconciliations with Python or SQL skills
• Static Data management involving large data sets with Python or SQL skills

The role involves working with large data sets from major global Futures & Options Exchanges such as LIFFE, Eurex, LME, CME, CBOT, ICE, among others, as well as third-party Futures Clearing Agents, supporting the bank’s global trading futures clearing business.

You will verify, reconcile, and investigate each exchange fee, currently involving manual processes. The position offers the opportunity to learn Python and automate manual tasks over time, with the goal of reducing manual processing.

This is a growing business with excellent promotion opportunities within Operations, including potential advancement to Operations Manager or other departments. The role is based in London, with a 4-day in-office and 1-day remote work schedule.

The salary is up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonuses, pension, and other benefits.
