Job summary

Macquarie Group in London seeks a Futures Business Solutions Operations Manager, Vice President to shape futures operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, driving strategic change and strengthening operational resilience.

Reporting to the Commodities and Global Markets Futures EMEA Head of Clearing, you will lead the regional Business Solutions agenda, overseeing data governance, onboarding, exchange product setup, fee management and process automation, and help evolve technology

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' experience within Exchange Traded Derivatives or listed markets, with leadership of a team.
• Proven track record delivering business change and operational transformation in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls and governance, including regulatory reporting and market structure changes.
• Experience in data governance, automation, workflow tools and process digitisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional Business Solutions agenda for Futures across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, controls and client outcomes.

Futures Business Solutions Operations Manager, Vice President

In this influential role, you will drive strategic change, strengthen operational resilience and use data, technology and automation to support the continued growth and scalability of our global Futures Clearing business.

What role will you play?

Reporting to the Commodities and Global Markets Futures EMEA Head of Clearing, you will lead the regional Business Solutions agenda, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, controls and client outcomes. Working closely with senior business leaders, Operations, Technology, Compliance and external market infrastructures, you will shape and deliver strategic initiatives across data governance, account onboarding, exchange product setup, fee management and operational processes. Through automation and process improvement, you will influence the evolution of technology platforms and help ensure a robust operating model as markets and regulatory requirements evolve. As a senior member of the team, you will also lead the resolution of significant operational issues, strengthen risk and control frameworks, and support the development and knowledge sharing of colleagues while collaborating with teams globally.

What you offer

• At least 10 years' experience within Exchange Traded Derivatives or listed markets, with strong knowledge of European futures and commodities markets and experience leading a team.
• A proven track record of delivering business change and operational transformation, including managing multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls and governance, together with experience supporting exchange onboarding, clearing connectivity, regulatory reporting and market structure change.
• Experience in data governance, automation, workflow tools and process digitisation, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
