Teaching Personnel is offering graduates a chance to join the Future Teachers Programme, providing classroom experience as Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors. This program aims to develop teaching skills and offers structured, paid training to prepare candidates for PGCE or other teacher training routes. Participants will gain insights into curriculum planning, behaviour management, and have the opportunity to work across various school settings.

Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Thinking about a career in teaching but not sure where to begin? Our Future Teachers Programme is a paid school-based training route designed to give graduates classroom experience before entering teacher training.
What You'll Do:
Support pupils in class as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor
Deliver academic interventions in your subject specialism (English, Maths or Science)
Observe and learn from qualified teachers
Receive mentoring and training to build classroom skills and confidence
You Should Apply If You:
Hold a degree (minimum 2:2) in a relevant subject
Are considering a PGCE, SCITT or Teach First in the near future
Want structured, paid experience to help inform your decision
Are committed to pupil development and academic progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
