Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join the Future Teacher Programme as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools starting this September. This role offers a practical path into teaching, helping you develop classroom management skills and confidence while being supported by experienced staff.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, support students, and work with departments as you explore different curriculum areas and teacher training routes such as PGCE or School Direct.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree from a recognised university.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to confidently lead groups of young people.
• Passion for education and helping students.
• Interested in future teaching or education careers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students in completing classwork as directed.
• Collaborate with subject departments with guidance from teachers.
• Gain exposure to different curriculum areas to support future training.
