Salary:£90-110 a day

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant who is interested in teacher training. This opportunity will allow you to gainfirst-hand classroom experiencein a school in County Durham, whilst preparing for a pathway towards Qualified Teacher Status.

What this role will entail:

  • Assist the Maths department with lesson delivery and resource creation
  • Creating a motivating and uplifting classroom environmentthat encouragesgrowth and passion
  • Providing both group and 1:1 support with students
  • Collaborating with teachers to give the best possible support
  • Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • A degree in Maths or a related field
  • DBS check (or willing to apply)
  • Ability to work as a collective and collaborate in a professional setting
  • Strong communicationskills
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour
