Junior Account Executive (SEO / Paid Search) - Future Talent Scheme

Just a heads up – The Future Talent Scheme offers two distinct roles – one focused on SEO/Paid Search, and the other on Programmatic/Paid Social. Take a look at both and go for the one that feels like the best fit for you. We will only review one application per person.

Salary: £27,100 per annum

Duration: 6-month fixed term contract (2 September 2025 - 2 March 2026)

We’re delighted to launch the second year of SINE Digital’s Future Talent Scheme, following the fantastic success of our first cohort – all of whom went on to secure permanent roles with us.

This six-month scheme is designed to support and develop the next generation of SINE talent, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and tailored training to help kickstart a career in digital marketing. Successful candidates will join one of our specialist teams – Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO, or Programmatic – gaining real-world experience and learning from industry experts.

For those who truly excel, there’s the exciting opportunity to secure a permanent role at the end of the programme.

We’re looking for enthusiastic people who are keen to learn and get stuck in. We don’t expect you to know the ins and outs of the industry just yet– we’re more interested in your attitude and potential. We won’t box you into a checklist – but curiosity, drive, and a proactive mindset will stand out.

THE TEAM

SINE Digital’s SEO and Paid Search team’s purpose is to achieve our client goals through best-in-class execution of campaigns across a variety of channels, platforms and tools, including (but not limited to):

Paid Search - Google Ads, Microsoft Ads

SEO: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, JetOctopus and Screaming Frog.

Typical activities for a Junior Account Executive:

  • Data analysis and visualisation, keyword research, website content optimisation, campaign building and ad copywriting
  • Optimising accounts and reporting on campaign performance
  • Maintaining accurate campaign schedules, budgets and invoices
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports and identifying new opportunities for clients within the online advertising space
  • Creating content calendars, optimising website content for SEO, creating content briefs for copywriters, using AI to support content production and uploading of content to client websites
  • Contributing to our growing social SEO strategies by briefing in keyword optimised posts for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and/or YouTube
  • Supporting on liaising with clients on campaign performance and actions, and ensuring deliverables are met
  • Client communication is also a key part of the role and we actively encourage our executives to participate in client meetings.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Core marketing principles and the role digital channels play in consumer behaviour
  • A core understanding of SEO, including website content strategy, technical best practices, digital PR, local SEO and client website platforms such as Shopify, Wordpress, Contentful and more.
  • Learning the cutting edge of SEO practice, including new search engine features, AI generated search, using AI tools, social search and more.
  • How to visualise, analyse and report on campaign performance
  • How to write effective ad copy and advising on creative deliverables to build eye-catching digital ads
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Career skills such as task management, calendar management, internal communication and presentation skills
