Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities including:
• Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Assist with new member sign-up.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Update member accounts as needed.
• Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Current CPR certification.
• Diplomatic and professional behavior.
• Must be 18 or older.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking throughout shift.
• Talking in person and on the phone.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• May encounter chemicals.
