Our Strategic Planning team seeks a Future Networks Planning Engineer in Salford. The role is full-time, suitable for candidates at ENG6 level or those willing to develop to that level.

Our Role

Ensure compliance with license commitments, manage power system models and data, maintain CIM format to LTDS and Code standards, and shape policies for net zero transition. Support Customer Connections, compliance activities, and asset development strategies.

What We Are Looking For
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of UK power distribution networks
  • Knowledge of electrical network components, operation, standards, and codes
  • Experience with power systems analysis software (IPSA, DINIS)
  • Understanding of power system modelling and data formats like CIM
  • Ability to perform technical assessments and compliance checks
What We’re Offering
