Job summary

NUVIA, acting as the construction partner within the STEP programme, seeks a Project Controls Engineer to lead planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk oversight across major infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineering teams and client stakeholders to deliver timely performance information and robust governance.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, baselines, cost reports, and change controls, while driving continuous improvement in project

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
Experience in project controls, planning or programme controls on large-scale infra or major construction projects.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and complex schedule management.
Experience with QSRA tools and earned value management concepts.
Knowledge of NEC contracts and strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, baselines, WBS, and execution plans using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
Monitor progress, analyse schedule performance, and conduct critical path analysis to identify risks and recovery opportunities.
Produce project dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports for management and client stakeholders.
Support cost control, budgets, forecasts, and change control across project lifecycle.
Identify, assess, and track project risks and opportunities with risk registers and mitigation plans.
