Job summary

Kier Group in Oxfordshire is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of the STEP programme aiming for 2040 fusion energy readiness. You will drive project execution, manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include developing PM plans, leading project teams, managing budgets up to £10m per annum, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders. Some flexibility on hours is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management and delivery.
• Recognised qualification (APM PMQ, Prince 2, PMP or similar).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Project Management Plans to achieve milestones within time, cost, and quality.
• Provide daily management and leadership of project teams; manage budgets up to £10m per annum.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and report progress to senior levels.
• Develop and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors to government standards; work with Commercial teams.
• Proactively manage risks and issues and escalate significant concerns.
