Job description

Job Title: FUSA Engineers – ISO 26262 Specialists (Fully Onsite in Sweden)

Location: Sweden (Fully onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months (immediate start)
Number of Positions: 10 Engineers
Role Overview:
We are seeking a team of highly skilled Functional Safety (FuSa) engineers with strong expertise in ISO 26262 standards (Parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9) to support key projects in the automotive domain. This is a fully onsite role in Sweden requiring immediate availability.

The engineers will contribute across multiple automotive domains including powertrain, infotainment, vehicle architecture, and telematics. Candidates must have hands-on experience conducting Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) across system, hardware, and software levels — providing end-to-end Functional Safety lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities:

-Apply ISO 26262 standards (Parts 3-9) to automotive system design and validation processes
-Perform comprehensive HARA to identify potential hazards and assess risks
-Lead DFMEA activities covering system, hardware, and software components
-Support functional safety planning, concept, and validation phases
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with functional safety requirements
-Contribute to safety case development and functional safety documentation
-Provide expert guidance on functional safety for powertrain, infotainment, vehicle architecture, and telematics projectsEssential Qualifications & Experience:

-Proven experience working with ISO 26262 Parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9
-Strong domain knowledge in at least one or more of the following: powertrain, infotainment, vehicle architecture, telematics
-Demonstrable expertise in HARA and DFMEA at system, hardware, and software levels
-Deep understanding of automotive functional safety lifecycle and processes
-Experience in creating and reviewing functional safety documentation and safety cases
-Ability to work fully onsite in Sweden for the full contract duration
-Immediate availability for a 6-month contract
-Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentPreferred Skills:

-Previous experience working in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment
-Familiarity with related automotive standards and regulations
-Hands-on experience with relevant safety analysis tools and software
-Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in functional safety best practicesContract Details:

-Contract Length: 6 months (with possible extension)
