Job Title: Junior Project Manager – Furniture & Interiors

Location: London

Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Working Hours: 4 days in 1 WFH

Primarily office and site-based, with flexibility for one remote day per week where appropriate.

Salary: £40,000 per annum, plus travel expenses and commission

Job Purpose

This role supports the delivery of furniture and interior-related projects, taking full ownership of assigned client contracts and ensuring each project is delivered in line with agreed Service Level Agreements. The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned projects from concept through to completion.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
  • Manage budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Oversee deliveries and installations, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure all projects meet or exceed customer expectations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support supply chain functions, including planning, logistics, and coordination of international freight.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to operational processes and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of business processes and planning strategies.
  • Support long-term planning initiatives, particularly those focused on quality improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Monitor customer service levels and help ensure targets for satisfaction are met.
  • Oversee logistics and installation services, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Scope of the Role

Effectively manage a portfolio of new and existing projects, delivering all aspects to a high standard while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and contractual obligations.

Skills & Experience Required
  • A solid understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Familiarity with architectural, interior, or furniture design processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience managing UK-based projects.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as design, business management, or a related discipline.
