Job summary

A leading staffing agency in London is seeking a dedicated Porter to ensure the smooth operation of their client sites. The Porter will assist with loading/unloading goods, maintain cleanliness, and support staff and visitors, following all health and safety protocols. This hands-on role requires reliability and a strong work ethic, with working hours around 37.5 per week, including early and late shifts.

Qualifications

  • Must enjoy a hands-on role and have a strong commitment to excellent service.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading and unloading goods, equipment, and supplies.
  • Safely transport items within the premises.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of common areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report issues.
  • Support setting up and dismantling of equipment for events.
  • Provide assistance to staff and visitors.

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic? We are currently seeking a dedicated Porter to join one of our client sites in London. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the organisation by providing support in various areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Working hours will be dependant on client requirements and can include early starts i.e. 6/7am and late finishes until 11.30pm/12pm however you will only work 37.5 hours per week.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, equipment, and supplies
  • Safely transport items within the premises using appropriate equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, including corridors, entrances, and storage rooms
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Support the team with setting up and dismantling of equipment for events or meetings
  • Provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
