We are looking for Fitters of office furniture who have a driving licence.

This is a Zero hours contracts role.
Good IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with a range of school stakeholders and service providers by advising, guiding, negotiating, persuading in all matters relating to premises management, encouraging others to adopt a desired course of action, resolving problems or circumstances that may be outside current remit. Demonstrate effective skills in working with children. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations in relation to premises management and their application within an educational environment. Experience of working to Health and Safety legislation. Experience of managing teams. Experience in setting up and managing repairs and maintenance programmes. Experience in managing building and maintenance contractors. Experience of compiling health and safety documentation such as risk assessments, policies and statutory inspections logs. Experience of working in an educational environment. Positive support for the implementation of school policies and procedures. Demonstrable commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusive education. A commitment to the vision, values, aims and objectives of Everton Free School’s programme. Has respect and empathy for children and young people and can work in a challenging environment where they may encounter students displaying challenging behaviours. To be a team player, forward thinking, enthusiastic and innovative. To establish effective relationships at all levels, dealing sensitively with people to minimise conflict. Evidence of continuous professional / personal development. 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (or equivalent) namely Maths, English. Relevant qualifications in facilities management or premises management. Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety management (i.e. NEBOSH/ IOSH).
