Job Description

We are currently seeking a Furniture Assembler / Machine Operative to join our clients manufacturing team in Leeds. This is a factory-based, full-time role ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with tools and machinery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality furniture components using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as operating woodworking machinery as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling furniture to a high standard using hand and power tools

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions

Operating woodworking and cutting machines safely and efficiently

Ensuring quality checks are carried out at each stage of production

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Working effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements

Previous experience in furniture assembly or a similar manufacturing role is essential

Confident in using hand tools and powered equipment

Ability to read technical drawings (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good time management and organisational skills

Physically fit and able to lift and move components safely
