Life Services Group’s Dignity Funeral Directors in Wolverhampton are seeking a Casual Funeral Service Operative to support families and ceremony teams. The role offers £13.40 per hour with additional on-call payments, and training is provided.

You’ll assist at services, operate hearses and limousines, and uphold professional, compassionate service during peak periods with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Compassionate and professional attitude.
• Able to lift and carry.
• Discreet in handling sensitive ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting at funeral services: bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mourners.
• Driving and operating specialist vehicles such as hearses and limousines.
• Representing Dignity Funeral Directors with professionalism and empathy.
• Providing respectful, discreet support to families on the day.
• Maintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct and service delivery.
