Job Title: Funeral Director/Embalmer (Expressions of Interest – Future Opportunities)

Location: Betz, Rossi, Bellinger and Stewart Funeral Homes (Amsterdam, NY)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / On-Call (as opportunities arise)

What You'll Do (When Opportunities Become Available):

  1. Coordinate and conduct funeral and memorial services with compassion and professionalism
  2. Meet with families to plan and arrange services according to their wishes and traditions
  3. Prepare legal documents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  4. Coordinate logistics including transport, embalming, viewings, and ceremonies
  5. Support grieving families with empathy and discretion throughout the process

What We're Looking For:

  • NY Licensed Funeral Director (or in the process of licensure)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and respectful under emotional circumstances
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
