Job summary

Funeral Partners, based in the New Forest area at Diamond & Son Funeral Directors - Lymington, seeks a dedicated Funeral Director to support families with compassion and professionalism. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth funeral day operations and coordinating with Arrangers and Operatives to deliver a respectful, detailed service.

The role offers opportunities to progress into other areas such as Operations or Area Development Manager, and includes a fringe weighting allowance.

Job description

Being a Funeral Director can be an opportunity to make a real difference to families during a difficult time in their lives, and there is a chance to progress into other roles such as Operations or Area Development Manager, with the right skills and determination. To learn more about this important role, go to our . Duties will include driving company vehicles, so a full UK manual license is required. You'll also have a place on the on call, and out of hours rota, which will provide an opportunity to earn additional payments. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, but on occasions could be between the hours of 7am - 6pm, depending on funeral service needs.

You will already have experience of conducting funerals having worked in the funeral industry previously. You will have good knowledge of the funeral process as well as the confidence and credibility to deliver an exceptional experience for every family we work with.

Salary

Salary includes a fringe weighting allowance of £1,275.
