Job description

This top-tier US law firm is currently looking for a qualified lawyer/PSL with experience in fund formation, ideally closed-ended, private fund structures, and related regulatory considerations, to work 3-4 days a week. They are open to this being on a flexi-hours basis.

About the Private Funds Group

Their Private Funds Group advises fund managers on structuring and fundraising for private equity, real estate, infrastructure, debt/credit, and emerging markets funds. They assist a wide range of fund managers with raising closed-ended funds, structuring related executive arrangements, and management structures. They also advise some institutional investors on their participation in closed-ended private funds.

Responsibilities

1. Monitoring key legal and regulatory developments and planning appropriate training and briefings for associates.
2. Providing know-how updates at group meetings.
3. Preparing client briefings and thought leadership pieces.
4. Monitoring key regulatory changes relevant to the private funds industry and writing short articles for client briefing.
5. Assisting with the preparation of articles for industry publications.
6. Supporting preparation for annual funds conferences.
