Confidential in London is seeking a Paralegal to support the Private Funds team on the full lifecycle of private investment funds, including formation, closings, investments and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will have a degree, excellent drafting and communication skills, and be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior Private Funds experience is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Assist with private fund formation, closings, investments and transactions.

Description

The Private Funds Paralegal will support the team across the full lifecycle of private investment funds, including:

• Assisting with private fund formation, closings, investments and transactions
• Drafting and reviewing fund formation and subscription documents
• Assisting with private placement memoranda and related documentation
• Supporting regulatory matters, including AIFMD and UK and EU requirements
• Managing closing checklists, signatures and document execution
• Liaising with clients, investors and external service providers
• Conducting legal and regulatory research
• Maintaining fund documentation, trackers and electronic files
• Providing wider transactional and administrative support to the team

Profile

The successful candidate will be degree educated with excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills. You will be highly detail-oriented, resilient and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous legal or Private Funds experience would be advantageous.
