About the Role

A prestigious US law firm with a strong presence in London is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer with 4+ years’ PQE to join its market-leading Private Funds practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned funds lawyer looking to transition into a knowledge role or for an existing PSL seeking a step up in calibre and complexity, while retaining work-life flexibility.

The role sits at the heart of a high-performing team focused on private equity, credit, and infrastructure funds. You'll work closely with partners and associates on both internal and client-facing initiatives that strengthen the firm’s market position and knowledge infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core knowledge materials: templates, precedents, and internal guidance notes
• Monitor and distill UK, EU, and global regulatory developments impacting private funds
• Support training and development for junior associates
• Collaborate with partners on client briefings, know-how sessions, and innovation projects
• Ensure consistency and efficiency across fund formation and investor-side matters

What We're Looking For

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ experience in private funds, ideally at a top-tier international or US law firm
• Strong technical drafting ability, particularly in fund formation documents
• Luxembourg fund experience (e.g. SCSp, RAIFs, SIFs) is highly advantageous but not essential
• Interest in legal innovation, learning & development, and process improvement
• Confident communicator with a proactive, detail-focused approach
