Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in London is seeking an Associate for Funds Advisory Services (Restructuring). You will work with experienced professionals delivering bespoke advisory solutions to institutional investors, fund managers and lenders across the alternative asset management industry.

The role involves supporting replacement manager engagements, governance reviews, distressed fund solutions and detailed financial analyses, with opportunities to contribute to market research and business development

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPI qualified with strong academic background.
• Experience in professional services such as accounting, banking or consulting.
• Background from insolvency, restructuring, audit, tax or forensics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support replacement manager engagements with investors, lenders and governance bodies.
• Assist LPACs and institutional investors with governance reviews and oversight of fund situations.
• Contribute to distressed and tail-end fund solutions including wind downs and continuation vehicles.
• Prepare detailed financial, operational and commercial analyses for mandates.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in asset management.
