We are excited to be working with an inspiring international development charity that focuses on children, to find them a Fundraising Project Manager for an 8-month contract. They seek an experienced project manager with a background in fundraising. You will be responsible for keeping strategic projects on track, collaborating with colleagues in the UK and in-country. This full-time role requires meticulous attention to detail, focusing on the daily management of projects, ensuring stakeholder accountability, timely delivery of actions, and accurate reporting of KPIs and budgets.

You will be responsible for:
  • Managing project administration, including recordkeeping, detailed project plans with timelines, KPIs, and financial targets.
  • Overseeing project delivery and leading continuous planning and prioritization, managing interdependencies effectively.
  • Establishing and maintaining up-to-date project management documentation for clarity across the team.
  • Supporting team briefing and coordination for fundraising asks related to specific appeals, aiding pipeline management.
  • Collaborating with marketing to develop content plans and produce impactful, timely, and cost-effective content to support projects.
  • Assisting in recruiting supporters for key strategic projects.
  • For the flagship appeal, developing compelling copy for diverse audiences, ensuring accurate and current information in partnership with program colleagues.
  • Focusing on achieving set objectives aligned with operational plans, including ambitious financial targets.
  • Maintaining current records of communications with donors/prospects in Salesforce.
  • Providing regular reports on pipeline activity and budgets.
Person specification:
  • Experience managing projects within a fundraising team.
  • Knowledge of the full project management process from planning to execution and measurement.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with clear actions, agendas, and minutes.
  • Strong skills in database management and problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, capable of communicating complex information effectively at high levels.
  • A collaborative approach to cross-organizational work and embedding effective practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Solutions-oriented, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

What's on offer:

This role offers a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 for an 8-month contract, with a hybrid work model (2 days a week in the office). Applications will close as soon as a suitable candidate is found due to the fast-moving nature of this role.
