The Fundraising Officer: Products sits within the Community, Events, and Products Fundraising Team.

The purpose of the Community, Events, and Products Fundraising team is to engage, grow, and inspire a community of passionate fundraisers to power the fight for mental health. Because together, we can change lives. You'll play a pivotal role in helping the team reach and exceed their target in 2025/26 FY.

You will project manage fundraising activity and supporter journeys from beginning to end. Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Officer, you will help deliver memorable experiences for our supporters across in-person and digital events (such as Mind Walk, Mind Big Brunch, and Social Challenges).

You will possess strong verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with supporters across various channels including mail, email, telephone, face-to-face, and online. You'll use data and insights to inform your work, evaluate your projects, and contribute to the team's annual planning.

You will be adaptable and flexible, able to move between sub-teams to help deliver changes in capacity and strategy. You will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Mind, following established briefing processes and ways of working to ensure efficient delivery. You will also gather content for media and digital teams through relationships with supporters.

Key duties and responsibilities

The Post Holder Will

  • Deliver fundraising activity and supporter journeys from start to finish, including writing briefs, stewarding supporters, working with creative agencies, internal data teams, print and production, and fulfilment agencies; collate results and recommend learnings.
  • Manage activities within budget, continuously improving to meet income targets.
  • Build excellent relationships with internal teams and third-party suppliers to effectively deliver activities and achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively steward registered participants via supporter journeys, including setup, communication, ongoing support, personalized thank-yous, and surveys across multiple channels.
  • Attend supporter-led and third-party events to enhance supporter experience and deepen relationships with Mind.
  • Support the Senior Fundraising Officer in delivering products fundraising activities, including planning, briefing, marketing, working with agencies, setting up web pages, reporting, and evaluation.
  • Analyze and interpret data to improve tactics and ensure results are met.
  • Produce high-quality analysis reports with recommendations for future activities.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure all materials align with Mind's tone, voice, and policies.
  • Work with media and digital teams to achieve Mind's digital-first strategy, attending training and thinking digital-first in all activities.
  • Identify and share inspiring supporter stories across Mind's channels.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and timely entry.
  • Manage invoice payments, POs, and expenditure tracking to stay within budget.
  • Manage workload proactively, meeting deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as required, compatible with the role.
