Overview

Fund Raising Officer, Newry. Flexsource?NI, part of Cpl Jobs, are recruiting for a local company in the Newry & Mourne area on a permanent basis. The Fundraising Officer will play a vital part in increasing public awareness and raising income to support the organisation's services.

You will work directly with individuals, groups, and organisations across the Banbridge, Lurgan & Portadown area to build strong local relationships, identify new fundraising opportunities, and develop sustainable income streams to support the growth and future needs of services in the local community. You will also work with the wider Income Generation Team on flagship campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with your fellow team members to organise key events and flagship fundraising campaigns.
  • Create and manage engaging content for our social media platforms, using Canva to design eye catching posts and supporting materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, support groups and individuals to encourage ongoing support.
  • Organise and support community-led events and initiatives to raise awareness and funds.
  • Identify and capitalise on new fundraising opportunities in the region to grow our network of community-based volunteers, and to facilitate fundraising events and activities.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
  • A degree (or equivalent) plus 1 year’s relevant experience in a fundraising, marketing, event management, PR or sales environment with a preference for B2B or B2C sales rather than retail.
  • OR
  • 2 years relevant experience in a fundraising, marketing, event management, PR or sales environment, with a preference for B2B or B2C sales rather than retail.
  • A driving licence with eligibility to drive in the UK and access to a car.

Hours of work: 9-5pm, 35 hours per week.

Salary will depend on experience.
