Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Manager to identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from grant making bodies and charitable trusts. To develop and implement a fundraising strategy and research and apply for grants in line with the strategy. The post holder will ensure that all grant applications are monitored and administered correctly.


Responsibilities


  • Identify and maximise fundraising opportunities from grant making bodies and charitable trusts.

  • Develop and implement a fundraising strategy.

  • Research and apply for grants in line with the strategy.

  • Monitor and administer all grant applications to ensure compliance and timely reporting.



Skills and Experience


  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing and sponsorship development (national level desirable).

  • Understanding of arts funding and charity sector regulations.

  • Understanding of fundraising principles and practice.

  • Confident and persuasive communicator with good attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage a varied and complex workload prioritising competing demands.

  • Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.



Details


  • Hours: 18 hours per week (Hybrid working).

  • Salary: NJC scale 4/5 scp 7-17 (£13.69 per hour - £16.08 per hour).

  • Closing Date: 4 September 2025; Interview date for shortlisted applicants on 9 September 2025.
