North East Rider Volunteers Scotland (NERVS) is a charitable organization established by local volunteers. Our mission is to deliver urgent medical samples, equipment, and supplies between hospitals, healthcare sites, and laboratories in the North East of Scotland for free. Our goal is to support the healthcare system by offering reliable and timely deliveries at no cost. NERVS is driven by a sense of community service and dedication to improving healthcare access.

Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Fundraising Manager. The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing fundraising campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include identifying fundraising opportunities, organizing events, liaising with donors and sponsors, and maintaining donor databases. The role also involves developing promotional materials, managing social media campaigns, and working on grant applications.

This is a Board and Trustee role within our organisation and as such although remote, applicants must reside in the Grampian or Moray regions of Scotland.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and executing fundraising campaigns
  • Strong organizational and event management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop promotional materials and manage social media campaigns
  • Grant writing and application experience advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
