A leading NHS charity is seeking a motivated Fundraising Assistant in Plymouth. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in fundraising and administrative support while contributing to meaningful NHS initiatives. As a key member of the team, you'll enhance donor relations and support various fundraising campaigns.
Want to make a real difference and support your local NHS? Plymouth Hospitals Charity is seeking a motivated and friendly Fundraising Assistant to join our team. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on charity experience, with the option to complete a nationally recognised Level 3 Fundraising Apprenticeship.
In this role, you'll:
Be the first point of contact at our vibrant Charity Hub
Assist visitors, donors, staff and volunteers
Process donations and manage donor records via our CRM
Support fundraising campaigns, events, logistics and volunteers
Help with social media, email, print and internal comms
Support our lottery, donor stewardship and ensure compliance with GDPR/NHS/Fundraising Regulator standards
What we're looking for:
A friendly, proactive, professional approach
Strong organisational and communication skills
Interest in fundraising, marketing and charity work
Willingness to learn and work as part of a dynamic team
Availability for full-time, with occasional off-site event support
