Job summary

A leading humanitarian organization is seeking a Fundraising Advisor to engage with donors via outbound calls, email, chat, and social media. The role requires excellent communication skills in English and German, along with a passion for building relationships and achieving results. You will work on-site two days a week in Newcastle upon Tyne, contributing to impactful fundraising initiatives for a noble cause.

Essential Functions - Duties and Responsibilities

• Passionate about building relationships and establishing trust with supporters with a view to securing ongoing donations.

• Being able to work professionally and efficiently dealing with donors to maintain and drive great results.

QualificationsRequired

• Excellent communication skills in English and German, both oral and written.

• Ability to influence others.

• A minimum of 6-12 months’ experience within a customer focused role.

• A passion to deliver exceptional results.

• An adaptable approach when dealing with supporters.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Effective listening skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.

• Strong attention to detail.

• PC literate with the ability to use multiple systems.

Preferred:

• Previous experience within a fundraising role.

Travel
