Job summary

Bury Hospice is seeking a dedicated Fundraising Officer to join our busy fundraising team in Bury. You will nurture engagement across supporters, schools, clubs and local businesses, building a portfolio of fundraising and supporter relationships while delivering a compelling supporter journey.

Working closely with the Chief Executive and across income streams, you’ll research local opportunities, engage community groups, and collaborate with Marketing to promote fundraising activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of fundraising / supporter relationships.
• Act as a key point of contact for supporters, providing excellent care, building strong relationships and helping people find the right way to support the hospice.
• Research potential local and community fundraising and engagement opportunities.
• Work with local community groups to raise awareness of and support for the charity.
• Work with Marketing and Communications to promote fundraising opportunities.
• Represent the charity at external events.
