Job summary

Trade Mastermind is seeking a Commercial Funding Manager in Peterborough (office-based) to oversee the funding journey from contract to cash receipt. You will work with brokers, lenders and internal teams to progress applications and resolve delays, driving cash conversion and cost efficiency.

A proactive, commercially minded professional with knowledge of commercial lending and KYC/AML processes is essential. This is a performance-driven role with uncapped bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial finance or business lending.
• Strong understanding of lender requirements and funding documentation, including KYC/AML.
• Ability to manage multiple funding cases and meet measurable targets.
• Proactive, accountable and financially astute with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end post-sale funding from contract signature to funding approval and cash receipt.
• Coordinate with third-party brokers and lenders to progress applications.
• Collect and verify documentation, including KYC/AML requirements.
• Assess funding routes through approved providers while minimising high-cost options.
• Monitor funding performance and improve cash conversion and time-to-cash metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
