Job summary

CNH Industrial Basildon is seeking a Technical Training Facilitator to deliver high quality training to dealer apprentices across Basildon Training Centre, colleges and partner sites. You will prepare courses, set up classrooms and workshops, ensure safety, and collaborate with the training manager to keep content up to date.

The role requires clear communication, a passion for mentoring, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and explain technical topics clearly.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics, engines and powertrains.
• Experience or aptitude in training apprentices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fundamental technical training to apprentices at Basildon Training Centre and partner sites.
• Prepare courses and set up classroom and workshop facilities.
• Complete all course paperwork promptly.
• Update courses and liaise with the training manager on content.
• Prepare training exercises to develop practical skills.
• Ensure health and safety and conduct on training courses.
• Report product or dealer issues to the training manager.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional training to our dealer network.
• Be the day-to-day contact for apprentice training partners.

Job Purpose

To provide high quality Technical Training to the Dealer network and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver fundamental technical training to dealer apprentices at Basildon Training Centre, colleges and dealer locations.
• To prepare courses and set up the classroom and workshop facilities.
• To complete all paperwork associated with running a course in a timely and proficient manner.
• To update courses and liaise with the training manager on the content.
• To prepare training exercises in order to develop practical skills.
• To be responsible for health and safety and the general conduct of technicians whilst they are on training courses.
• To report any relevant information regarding product or dealer business issues to the training manager.
• To be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
• To identify any opportunities that may arise to offer training to the dealer network.
• Be the day-to-day contact for our apprentice training partners.

Experience Required

• Ability to learn technical topics.
• Sound technical understanding of hydraulics, electrics, engines and powertrains
• Knowledge of CNH products an advantage.
• Knowledge of agricultural or similar industries.
• Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Clear speaking voice and good diction.
• People skills and ability to motivate.
• Inquisitive personality.
• Willing to travel.
• Passion for transferring the knowledge to the younger generation.
