The role will sit within a global, sector-agnostic, equity-focused strategy, supporting discretionary idea generation, thematic analysis, and trade construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in investment banking or a comparable buy-side role, ideally with exposure to event-driven strategies. A strong foundation in fundamental equity research, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis is essential. The candidate should be proficient in building and maintaining detailed financial models, conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis, and translating complex data into actionable investment insights.
We’re looking for someone who is intellectually curious, proactive, and commercially aware, with the ability to think independently and contribute meaningfully to investment discussions. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are important, as is the ability to synthesise macroeconomic and company-specific information into coherent, high-conviction trade ideas. A genuine interest in public equities, global markets, and fundamental investing is key, as is a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where ownership and accountability are valued.
