Job Description:

Our client, a global private equity and infrastructure investor, currently offers hybrid working and seeks a Valuations Manager to lead the London-based Valuations team.

Job Purpose

This is a Senior Associate level role responsible for managing the production and audit of fund valuations, overseeing data integrity for portfolio companies, and driving continuous improvements across valuation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a growing team, work cross-functionally with stakeholders, and play a central part in transforming operational systems and controls.
• Manage the Valuations team’s day-to-day workload.
• Oversee the audit of valuations, coordinating team members to ensure smooth audit activities.
• Supervise processes and data flow within the team.
• Ensure data quality targets are met, oversee integrity checks and statistical analysis techniques.
• Guide the team through complex queries or valuations, providing expert oversight.
• Monitor and update the valuations operating model, including the control framework.

Staff Management

• Manage objectives, motivations, and training needs, ensuring individual development in accordance with company HR policies.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and formal semi-annual and annual appraisals.

Essential Must-Have Experience

• Proven experience in private equity or investment management.
• Strong technical skills, especially in fund of fund private markets valuation techniques.
• Excellent team leadership, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong control mindset.
• Experience working with financial data in fast-paced environments.
